Asbestos Contractor - Licensure as an Individual - Inactive (ALU 1)
This application is used to apply for licensure as an Asbestos Contractor doing business in your own individual name, not as a business.

TRAINING:
You must provide proof of completion of the following
Department-approved courses:
A list of department approved providers and courses may
be found at

Applicants must submit a training verification form for
each provider listed.
- EXPERIENCE: Provide a completed Project List showing at least 10 asbestos abatement projects within the last 5 years and completed Project Verification Forms for each project listed on the Project List.
- EXAMINATION: You must have passed the State of Florida Asbestos Contractor and Business examinations.
PERSONAL FINANCIAL/CREDIT: Provide a credit report on the applicant from a nationally recognized credit reporting agency, which includes a public records statement that records have been checked at local, state, and federal levels. If applying online, you can pay with a credit card or electronic check. If mailing your application, please include a check payable to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Military veterans, their spouses and Florida National Guard members may be eligible for a fee waiver, fee reimbursement, and/or fee discount.
