Change of Status - One Qualified Business to Another - Qualifying an Additional Business Entity (CILB 19)
For individuals that are currently licensed by the Construction Industry Licensing Board, a change of status application is required if you wish to change your license from qualifying one additional business to a different additional business entity.
Application Requirements:
FINANCIAL/CREDIT: Applicants will
need to provide proof of financial stability and responsibility by submitting
credit reports for themselves and the business entities (if applicable). Credit
reports must include a FICO derived credit score and indicate that local, state
and federal records have been searched.
FINGERPRINTS:An applicant must have a background check as
part of the licensing process.To learn

INSURANCE: Applicants are required to attest that they have obtained public liability and property damage insurance in the amounts determined by Board rule. Applicants are also required to obtain workers compensation insurance or obtain an exemption from workers compensation insurance within 30 days of issuance of their license.

APPEARANCE REQUIREMENT:If you do not own 20% or more of the proposed
business, or if the approval of this application will result in you qualifying
three or more businesses (regardless of whether or not you already qualify
three or more), you will be required to appear in front of the Board.
FEE:Pay the required fee as provided in the application.Make check payable to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
