Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

14-13-4    Basic - Food-contact surface not smooth and easily cleanable. Observed can opener blade rusting.
10-08-5    Basic - Ice scoop handle in contact with ice. Bar.
21-04-4    Basic - In-use wet wiping cloth/towel used under cutting board. Operator removed wiping cloth. **Corrected On-Site**
31B-04-4    Basic - No handwashing sign provided at a hand sink used by food employees. Men's restroom.
29-08-4    Basic - Plumbing system in disrepair. Observed right side faucet loose in women's restroom.
21-12-4    Basic - Wet wiping cloth not stored in sanitizing solution between uses.
03A-02-5    High Priority - Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed Raw calamari 49F cold hold less than 4 hours. Operator turned down drawer reach in cooler at cook line. **Corrective Action Taken**
11-27-4    Intermediate - Establishment has no written procedures for employees to follow in response to a vomiting or diarrheal event where the vomit or diarrhea is discharged onto surfaces in the establishment. Provided operator with written procedures. **Corrected On-Site**
31A-11-4    Intermediate - Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed hand wash sink next to ice machine used to store strainer. Observed hand wash sink at bar used as a dump sink.
31B-02-4    Intermediate - No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink. Hand wash sink at bar.
11-26-1    Intermediate - No proof provided that food employees are informed of their responsibility to report to the person in charge information about their health and activities related to foodborne illnesses. Operator completed form. **Corrected On-Site**
02C-04-5    Intermediate - Operator is not properly tracking/marking the number of days ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food prepared onsite was held at refrigeration temperatures prior to freezing in order to properly date mark the food when it is thawed and held at refrigeration temperatures again. Observed precooked frozen ground beef not date marked in walk in freezer.
27-16-4    Intermediate - Water with a temperature of least 85 degrees Fahrenheit not provided/shut off at employee handwash sink. Hand wash sink at bar next to three compartment sink.
