Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Covered waste receptacle not provided in women's bathroom. There is no covered receptacle in the women's restroom in the dining area or the unisex restroom in the back of the kitchen.
Basic - Floor area(s) covered with standing water. There is standing water on the floor in the salad station between the walk in cooler and the salad station make table cooler.
Basic - Food stored on floor. There is a bag of flour stored on the floor in fry storage.
There is a bucket of pickles stored on the floor in the walk in cooler.
High Priority - Employee cracked raw shell eggs and then handled ready-to-eat food and/or clean equipment or utensils without washing hands. A cook cracked raw shell eggs then handled clean plates without changing gloves and washing hands.
High Priority - Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. In the walk in cooler a container with raw ground beef is stored on top of a bucket of pickles that are stored on the floor in the walk in cooler. **Repeat Violation** **Admin Complaint**
High Priority - Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored. There are bottles of all purpose cleaner and delimer stored with containers os vegetable oil in fry storage.
Intermediate - No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink. There are no single use paper towels in the women's restroom. There are no paper towels at the hand washing sink by the dishwasher. Operator provided paper towels. **Corrected On-Site**
