A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Food stored on floor.
Observed bottled drinks stored on floor in the bar area , spoke with manager and he said he will get a rack to place them on .
Basic - Opened employee beverage container in a cold holding unit with food to be served to customers.
Observed can of soda for employee in reach in tall reach in cooler closest to the stove , manager moved the soda to appropriate location **Corrected On-Site**
Basic - Utensils in poor condition.
Observed chipped wooden spoon in dishwashing area , discussed with manager the importance of using undamaged equipment, manager discarded the item. **Corrected On-Site**
High Priority - Container of medicine improperly stored.
Observed medicine on prep table stored on shelf next to microwave , manager removed the item. **Corrected On-Site**
High Priority - Raw animal food stored over or with unwashed produce.observed raw fish over unwashed produce , manager moved the raw fish to the appropriate location in the cooler. **Repeat Violation**
High Priority - Stop Sale issued on time/temperature control for safety food due to temperature abuse.
Observed a dessert portion of rice pudding in dessert cooler on the front counter at 44f , was stored over night and no temperature taken on this day , stop sale manager discarded the rice pudding . **Corrective Action Taken**
High Priority - Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees

High Priority - Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored.
Observed spray bottles of Windex hanging on rack next to vinegar.manager removed the item. **Corrected On-Site**
Intermediate - Toxic substance/chemical on premise that is not required for the operation of establishment.
Observed 2 small cans of WD40 lubricant stored on prep table next to Microwave , manager removed the items . **Corrected On-Site**
