Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

40-06-5    Basic - Employee personal items stored in or above a food preparation area, food, clean equipment and utensils, or single-service items. Observed cellphone stored on top of cutting board. Operator removed cellphone. **Corrected On-Site**
13-03-4    Basic - Employee with no hair restraint while engaging in food preparation. Cook.
22-16-4    Basic - Reach-in freezer interior/shelves have accumulation of soil residues.
06-01-5    Basic - Time/temperature control for safety food thawed in an improper manner. Observed packaged frozen shrimp thawing at room temperature. Operator placed foods in refrigerator to thaw. **Corrected On-Site**
03A-02-5    High Priority - Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed Garlic in oil 73F cold hold more than 4 hours. Stop Sale. Operator discarded garlic in oil. **Corrective Action Taken**
41-10-4    High Priority - Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored on shelving near food items. Operator removed chemical. **Corrected On-Site**
27-16-4    Intermediate - Water with a temperature of least 85 degrees Fahrenheit not provided/shut off at employee handwash sink. Observed water temperature at 78F at front service hand wash sink.
45-04-4    Use of cooking equipment producing grease laden vapors/smoke with no hood suppression system installed. Notified Fire AHJ. For reporting purposes only.
