A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

12B-02-4    Basic - Employee eating in a food preparation or other restricted area. Observed employee eating while prepping empanadas.
36-22-4    Basic - Floor area(s) covered with standing water. Water on the floor do to darning problem. Observed standing water beneath equipment in food prep area.
36-15-4    Basic - Food debris accumulated on kitchen floor. Food debris and trash accumulated under equipment.
14-52-4    Basic - Nonfood-contact surfaces not designed and constructed to allow easy cleaning and maintenance. Observed shelve to low for easy cleaning.
29-19-4    Basic - Standing water in floor drain/floor drain draining very slowly. Observed water being retained on the floor due to slow draining.
36-26-4    Basic - Wall soiled with accumulated black debris in dishwashing area.
36-27-4    Basic - Wall soiled with accumulated food debris.
36-28-4    Basic - Wall soiled with accumulated grease. Observed wall under the hood is soiled.
42-01-4    Basic - Wet mop not stored in a manner to allow the mop to dry. Observed wet mop not stored to dry.
50-06-4    High Priority - License expired within 30 days after expiration date.
35A-03-4    Basic - High Priority - Dead roaches on premises. One big dead roach in wic.
28-26-4    High Priority - Sewage/wastewater backing up through floor drains. Observed cloudy/smelly water from the floor drain in the food prep area in the kitchen.
31A-11-4    Intermediate - Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed wire mesh that is used to clean utensil in hand wash sink.
31B-02-4    Intermediate - No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink. At hand wash sink in prep area.
