A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
High Priority - Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Observed approximately three live roach on wall next to microwaves on cook line , one on microwave, one live roach in dry storage area on box of recently delivered food and three in dish room. **Repeat Violation** **Warning**
Upon call back 03/27/15 observed approximately eight live roaches inside the freezer gaskets of the white Tappan reach in cooler located in the dry storage and two live roaches along the wall of the dry storage area.
Upon call back 04/02/15 observed four live roaches in dry storage area.
Upon call back 04/08/15 observed approximately one live roach inside of the Sanyo reach in cooler located on the cook line, one live roach on the side of the white Tappan reach in cooler located in the dry storage area and one live roach inside of the two door stainless steel Whirlpool reach in cooler located in the dry storage area.
Upon call back 04/10/15 observed approximately one live roach in dry storage area next to two door stainless steel Whirlpool reach in cooler and one live roach inside the freezer gaskets of the white Tappan reach in cooler located in the dry storage area.
