A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Dead roaches on premises. 4 dead roaches in drain strainer under hand sink , 5 dead roaches next to mop sink , 4 dead roaches on floor in dish washing area, 1 dead roach on raw chicken stored on top area of reach in cooler , 1 dead roach next to raw beef in top area of reach in cooler **Repeat Violation**
High Priority - Raw animal food ( cracked eggs ) stored over ready-to-eat food.( cut onions ) top holding area of reach in cooler **Corrected On-Site**
High Priority - Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. 2 live roaches in three compartment sink, 11 live roaches various sizes on floor along wall under three compartment sink and mopsink area, 1 live roach going into hole in walk near mop sink , 1 live roach in mopsink , 1 small live roach crawling on cutting board in dish washing area, 1 live roach inside closed bulk container of dry rice ,2 live roach between table and attached side guard near reach in freezer, 1 live roach on slide tray under woks , 1 large roach crawling on floor near walk in cooler /storage area **Repeat Violation**
High Priority - Stop Sale issued due to food not being in a wholesome, sound condition. Live Roach inside container of dried rice ; dead roach on raw chicken and next to raw beef in top holding area of reach in cooler
Intermediate - Ready-to-eat, potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food prepared onsite and held more than 24 hours not properly date marked. Cut cabbage , cooked rice in walk in cooler **Repeat Violation**
