Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

36-17-4    Basic - Floor tiles missing. Underneath three compartment sink, in the kitchen. **Repeat Violation**
08B-47-4    Basic - Food not stored at least 6 inches off of the floor. Bottled water on the floor at front counter next to kitchen entrance.
36-24-5    Basic - Hole in or other damage to wall. Underneath hand wash sink in the kitchen area.
38-01-4    Basic - Light shield damaged/in disrepair. Above preparation table in the kitchen.
14-67-4    Basic - Reach-in Freezer gasket torn/in disrepair. Chest reach in freezer next to hot holding units in the kitchen area. **Repeat Violation**
02D-01-5    Basic - Working containers of food removed from original container not identified by common name. Sugar, in a blue plastic container, not identified by common name.
50-17-2    High Priority - Operating with an expired Division of Hotels and Restaurants license. Observed seating license for establishment from division of Hotels and Restaurant expired on October 1, 2017. **Repeat Violation** **Admin Complaint**
16-35-4    Intermediate - No chlorine chemical test kit provided when using chlorine sanitizer at three-compartment sink/warewashing machine. **Repeat Violation**
31B-02-4    Intermediate - No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink. Hand wash sink next to prep table in the kitchen.
53B-01-5    Intermediate - No proof of required state approved employee training provided for any employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. Observed 3 employees engaging food preparation, as per manager, working for over 1 year with no proof of training.
