Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Ceiling not smooth, nonabsorbent and easily cleanable in food preparation, food storage, warewashing areas or bathroom. Acoustic tiles in kitchen. One tile broken.
Basic - Food debris/dust/grease/soil residue on exterior of reach-in cooler/refrigerator. Exterior of reach in cooler two door, freezer, and prep cooler. Hood filters soiled. Gaskets in tall reach in cooler, freezer, and prep cooler. Steam table and stove have build up of food debris.
Basic - In-use utensil for nonpotentially hazardous (non-time/temperature control for safety) food not stored in a clean, protected location. Knives in soiled wall holder, above hand wash sink utensils in soiled container.
High Priority - Spray bottle with chemical/toxic substance stored near/on/above food preparation surface or food. Spray bottle of bleach and water next to a bottle of syrup.
Intermediate - Commercially processed ready-to-eat, potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food opened and held more than 24 hours not properly date marked after opening. Milk in reach in cooler in dining area. Operator marked. **Corrected On-Site**
Intermediate - Interior of reach-in cooler soiled with accumulation of food residue. Inside of two door tall reach in cooler, reach in freezer, and two door prep cooler.
