Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

36-64-5    Basic - Objectionable odors in bathroom or other areas of the establishment. Odors near triple sink in kitchen area.

35B-04-4    Basic - Outer openings of establishment cannot be properly sealed when not in operation. Plexiglass window in front of restaurant has a gap.

12A-05-4    High Priority - Employee used tobacco, ate, or drank then engaged in food preparation, handled clean equipment or utensils, or touched unwrapped single-service items without washing hands. Cook on cook line eating French fries in kitchen and immediately began working with fryer baskets without washing hands.
35A-02-6    High Priority - Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area. Two live flies observed in kitchen area.
50-17-2    High Priority - Operating with an expired Division of Hotels and Restaurants license. License expired 6/1/2019. **Admin Complaint**
03A-02-5    High Priority - Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Two pans of fish and one pan of chicken on flip top cooler on cook line 54°F. Items placed out approximately 15 minutes prior. Three cases of chicken on floor in back kitchen area 66°F. Items placed our approximately 30 minutes prior.
