A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Ceiling/ceiling tiles/vents soiled with accumulated food debris, grease, dust, or mold-like substance. Observed the ceiling tiles above the soda machine with debris on the tiles. Employee cleaned the ceiling tiles. **Corrected On-Site**
Basic - Cutting board has cut marks and is no longer cleanable. Observed a white and green cutting boards with excessive grooves on the cutting board in the kitchen.
Basic - Floor not cleaned when the least amount of food is exposed. Observed the floor in the walk-in cooler with water on the floor. Manager squeegee the cooler. **Corrected On-Site**
Basic - Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust. Observed the fan cover in walk-in cooler with debris on the cover.
Observed the gaskets on the walk-in beer cooler with debris and mold like substance on the gasket. Manager cleaned the gaskets. **Corrected On-Site**
Basic - Unwashed fruits/vegetables stored with ready-to-eat food. Observed unwashed tomatoes stored above ready to eat lettuce. Manager moved the tomatoes to the bottom shelf. **Corrected On-Site**
Intermediate - Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime. Observed the soda gun holster with mold like substance on the inside of the holster. Bartender cleaned the soda gun. **Corrected On-Site**
