A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Floor tiles missing and/or in disrepair. Inside bar flooring between bar and back stock room missing/ broken tiles. Standing water in area of inside bar were tiles are missing.
Floor tiles missing / broken dance hall bar. Florsheim under and behind equipment in both bars need cleaned.
Basic - Reach-in cooler interior/shelves have accumulation of soil residues.
Interior of the chest style reach in cooler at inside bar with standing water that has liquid bottles floating in water build up. Bartender working to correct standing water with vacuum while inspection was taking place. **Corrective Action Taken**
Basic - Working containers of food removed from original container not identified by common name. Squeeze bottle with clear liquid (water) no labeled on cook line.
High Priority - Pesticide-emitting strip present in food prep area. White plastic container with yellow strip needs to be sealed when location is open and in operation.
High Priority - Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food. Liner leaf lettuce stored next to raw tubes ground beef, corrected **Corrected On-Site**
