The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Employee personal items stored in or above a food preparation area, food, clean equipment and utensils, or single-service items.Employee drinks and purse stored with single service items. **Warning**
Basic - Equipment in poor repair. Cooling drawers under flat top in disrepair. Missing one drawer. Per manager equipment have been order. Stand up reach in freezer not cooling , ambient temperature of 57. **Warning**
Basic - Ice buildup in reach-in freezer and/or walk-in freezer.ice build up at reach in freezer by fryers. And freezer that have ice cream. **Warning**
Basic - Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust.Hood system over oven in prep area and hood system over fryers have grease build up .Fan cover missing at walk in coolers have dust . Fan covers at walk in freezer have dust. Push cart have food debris. **Warning**
Basic - Plumbing system in disrepair.Hand sink at bar leaks from bottom pipe when opened. Per employee hand sink has been in disrepair for over four years. **Warning**
Intermediate - Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime.All reach in coolers and make tables at cook line have food debris. Mold like substance at soda machine in expo area. **Warning**
