Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Ceiling/ceiling tile shows damage or is in disrepair.
Observed water stained ceiling tiles, and 1 missing by the front line. **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Clean-out cap missing from plumbing line.
Observed the clean out cap on the sidewalk, right side of the building, is missing, leaving a 4" hole in the side walk.
Basic - Employee personal food not properly identified and segregated from food to be served to the public.
Observed moon cake stored over customer food...
Squid/octopus stored over pork...unsealed drink stored over shell eggs, all in the walk-in cooler, no designation as employee food. The employee food outside drying(hard plant core) is not labeled as employee food. This item is not on the menu. **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Time/temperature control for safety food thawed in an improper manner.
Observed blocks of frozen shrimp in the 3 sink, no running water. Water was turned on. **Corrected On-Site**
High Priority - Time/temperature control for safety food identified in the written procedure as a food held using time as a public health control has no time marking and the time removed from temperature control cannot be determined. See stop sale.
Observed the cabbage and the pasta on the back prep table next to the cook line flip top, no time marks. **Repeat Violation** **Admin Complaint**
Intermediate - Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime.
Observed handles for measuring cups left in bulk flour, are soiled.
Intermediate - Records/documents for required employee training do not contain all of the required information.
Observed an employee certificate lacking manager Certified Food Manager number.
