A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
High Priority - - From initial inspection : High Priority - Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area.
Observed approximately 30 live flies under triple sink in front bar area. **Warning** - From follow-up inspection 2021-08-18: Two live flies observed under triple sink in bar. **Admin Complaint**
High Priority - - From initial inspection : High Priority - Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found.
Observed approximately 102 rodent droppings in establishment: 39 under mop sink just off food storage area, 18 under triple sink in food storage area, 14 down small hallway in food storage and 31 around walls in food storage under food shelves. Operator instructed employees to clean. **Corrective Action Taken** **Warning** - From follow-up inspection 2021-08-18: 46 rodent droppings observed in food storage area of kitchen and under mop sink. **Admin Complaint**
Intermediate - - From initial inspection : Intermediate - Manager or person in charge lacking proof of food manager certification and no other certified food service manager employed at this location.
No certified food manager for establishment. Operator states he tried to get, but all places closed due to COVID-19. **Repeat Violation** **Admin Complaint** - From follow-up inspection 2021-08-18: No certified food manager still. **Time Extended**
