Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

12B-01-4    Basic - Employee eating while preparing food. -Observed employee eating bowl of fruit in between chopping onions in kitchen. Operator instructed employee to discontinue chopping onions, wash hands and discard personal food. **Corrective Action Taken**
13-03-4    Basic - Employee with no hair restraint while engaging in food preparation. -Observed multiple employees preparing food in kitchen without hair properly restrained.
35B-01-4    Basic - Exterior door has a gap at the threshold that opens to the outside.
08B-47-4    Basic - Food not stored at least 6 inches off of the floor. -Observed multiple containers of cooking oil stored on floor next to reach in freezer in kitchen.
40-01-4    Basic - No suitable facilities provided to store employee clothing and other possessions.
23-03-4    Basic - Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust. -Observed gaskets soiled throughout all reach in coolers in kitchen.
14-17-4    Basic - Walk-in cooler shelves with rust that has pitted the surface.
36-27-5    Basic - Wall soiled with accumulated grease, food debris, and/or dust. -Ware wash area in kitchen.
50-17-2    High Priority - Operating with an expired Division of Hotels and Restaurants license. -Observed current DBPR license expired on 12/1/2021. Operator instructed to contact DBPR to renew license during inspection. Validation #218466595
08A-20-5    High Priority - Raw animal foods not properly separated from each other in holding unit based upon minimum required cooking temperature. -Observes raw chicken over raw beef on shelf inside walk in cooler .
53A-05-6    Intermediate - No currently certified food service manager on duty with four or more employees engaged in food preparation/handling.
