Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

10-01-5    Basic - In-use utensil in non-time/temperature control for safety food not stored with handle above top of food within a closed container. Scoop for garlic at front counter. 23-03-4    Basic - Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust. Blue fan at front counter. Shelves below counters in front counter area. Racks in walk in cooler where crabs are kept. Racks in walk in freezer. Shelves below prep tables in kitchen. Gaskets for walk in cooler, walk in freezer and multiple reach in coolers in kitchen. 14-15-4    High Priority - Nonfood-grade containers used for food storage - direct contact with food. Multiple black hardware totes used for storing of seasonings.
08A-02-6    High Priority - Raw animal food stored over or with ready-to-eat food in a freezer - not all products commercially packaged. In front reach in freezer by front door, raw chicken stored over ready to eat french fries and okra, and raw turkey necks and raw chicken stored over ready to eat sausage. All items moved and stored correctly. **Corrected On-Site**
01B-14-4    High Priority - Shell eggs in use or stored with cracks or broken shells. See stop sale. Six shelled eggs stored in reach in cooler by pass window are cracked. Eggs discarded.

51-16-7    Intermediate - No plan review submitted and approved - renovations were made or are in progress. Must submit plans and plan review application to DBPR H and R Plan Review office located at 2601 Blair Stone Rd., Tallahassee, FL 32399-1011. Plans must be submitted AND approved within 60 days. In front counter area, hand washing sink has been added due to food preparation being conducted at front counter.
