A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Floors, walls and/or ceilings soiled/has accumulation of debris.
Ceilings and ceiling vents throughout kitchen soiled.
Hood over convection ovens has build up.
Floor behind fryers has grease and debris. **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Ice buildup in reach-in freezer and/or walk-in freezer.
Slide top reach-in freezer at conveyor oven.
Walk-in freezer, at cooling unit. **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Interior of oven/microwave has accumulation of black substance/grease/food debris.
Top,plate in interior of microwave at flat top and make line have encrusted residue.
Interior of two convection ovens have black food debris. **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Lights in food preparation, food storage or warewashing area missing the proper shield, sleeve coatings or covers.
Light fixture at prep area missing cover.
Intermediate - Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime.
Multiple flavor nozzles on soda dispenser at drive thru and left on in dining area, build up.
Top plate of ice bin at drive thru soda dispenser has black mold-like substance. **Repeat Violation**
Intermediate - No proof of required state approved employee training provided for employee hired more than 60 days ago. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233.
