Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Floor soiled/has accumulation of debris. Observed the floor area in the entire front kitchen has debris and grease, and in the back kitchen behind equipment has debris. **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Single-service articles improperly stored. Observed to go containers stored on the floor. Manager had employee move the containers off the floor. **Corrected On-Site**
Basic - Water leaking from pipe and/or faucet/handle. Observed water leaking from the water softener system onto the floor. Repairman came in to fix the water softener.
High Priority - Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area.
Observed 3 live flies in the FOH and 3 live flies in the BOH.
Intermediate - Handwash sink not accessible for employee use at all times. Observed the hand sink with an ice bucket in the sink. Manager removed the ice bucket. **Corrected On-Site**
Intermediate - No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink. Observed no paper towels at the hand sink in the kitchen . Manager restocked the paper towels. **Corrected On-Site**
Intermediate - No soap provided at handwash sink. Observed no soap at the hand sink by the ice cream freezer. Manager restocked the soap. **Corrected On-Site**
