A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Bowl or other container with no handle used to dispense food. Observed in dry storage area food containers labeled brown sugar and regular sugar having bowls without handle use as scoops **Warning**
Basic - No conspicuously located ambient air temperature thermometer in holding unit. Observed no ambient air thermometer in 2 door sliding glass reach in cooler **Warning**
Basic - Wall soiled with accumulated grease, food debris, and/or dust. Observed in kitchen wall by Hand Wash Sink and 2 door reach in cooler wall is soiled **Warning**
High Priority - Employee began working with food, handling clean equipment or utensils, or touching unwrapped single-service items without first washing hands. Observed employee coming from outside and begin work without any hand washing **Warning**
High Priority - Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found. Observed 10 rodent droppings by the dish machine area back corner
Observed in drive through area found 7 rodent droppings on shelf
Observed at water heater on top of water heater found 2 and on the bottom of water heater found 6 rodent droppings
Observed in male bathroom found 6 rodent droppings behind toilet **Admin Complaint**
Intermediate - No proof provided that food employees are informed of their responsibility to report to the person in charge information about their health and activities related to foodborne illnesses. Observed 2 employees in the kitchen does not have employee agreement **Warning**
