A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Bowl or other container with no handle used to dispense food. Observed plastic container with no handle used to scoop seasoning salt. Owner moved the container out. **Corrected On-Site**
Basic - Food stored on floor. Observed onion rings and fish box on walking freezer floor. Employee moved them to a shelf. **Corrected On-Site** **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Single-service articles not stored inverted or protected from contamination. Observed plastic to go containers stored not inverted. Employee inverted them. **Corrected On-Site** **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Standing water or very slow draining water in handwash sink, three-compartment sink, or mop sink. Observed slow draining at the hand sink located by the 3 compartment sink. **Repeat Violation**
Intermediate - Establishment has no written procedures for employees to follow in response to a vomiting or diarrheal event where the vomit or diarrhea is discharged onto surfaces in the establishment. Observed no cleaning procedures on premises, provided hand out during inspection, manager printed copy. **Corrected On-Site**
Intermediate - Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing. Observed hand sink used to refill a bottle of water to use it at the flat top station.
Intermediate - Packaged food not labeled as specified by law. Observed the establishment offered desert bought from Nisha pudding LLC and Snowland LLC not labeled as specified by law.
Manager spoke with the owner of the establishment to label the food . **Repeat Violation**
