A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - - From initial inspection : Basic - Dead roaches on premises.
1. Three dead roaches on the floor in front of dishwasher in kitchen.
2. Approximately 20 dead roaches observed inside Dishmachine uncovered electrical compartment, in kitchen. **Warning** - From follow-up inspection 2024-04-12: 1. Approximately 15 dead roaches in reach in cooler unit electrical compartment next to cookline. **Admin Complaint**
High Priority - - From initial inspection : High Priority - Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area.
1. Approximately 15 live small flying insects resting and flying around ware washing area.
2. Three live small flying insects resting on cutting boards stored at food prep table in kitchen.
3. Six live small flying insect resting on dry food storage rack in kitchen.
4. Approximately 12 live small flying insects resting and flying on napkins and shelving at the front counter. **Warning** - From follow-up inspection 2024-04-12: 1. Observed 2 live small flying insects flying and resting at front counter.
2. Observed 4 small live flying insects flying and resting on storage rack in kitchen by walk in cooler. **Admin Complaint**
High Priority - - From initial inspection : High Priority - Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found.
1. Two live roaches observed crawling on wall and utensil storage rack above triple sink in the kitchen.
2. Two live roaches crawling on the wall behind cook line in the kitchen. **Warning** - From follow-up inspection 2024-04-12: 1. Approximately 12 live roaches in castor wheels on reach in cooler units near cookline.
1. One live roach crawling on floor in front of walk in cooler in kitchen. **Admin Complaint**
