A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Bowl or other container with no handle used to dispense food.
Observed:
- No handle cup used to portion rice in bin across from 3 door cooler.
- No handle cup used to portion cooked potatoes in low boy cooler across from cook line. **Warning**
Basic - Dead roaches on premises.
Observed:
- Approximately 6 dead roaches next to three compartment sink.
- Approximately 8 dead roaches on floor next to chest freezer.
- 2 dead roaches next to glass reach in cooler. **Warning**
High Priority - Live, small flying insects found
Observed:
- 3 flying insects flying around front counter.
- 2 flying insects flying around out of use reach in cooler in kitchen. **Warning**
High Priority - Raw animal food stored over/not properly separated from ready-to-eat food.
Observed raw shell eggs stored above ready to eat drink in three door reach in cooler in kitchen. PIC removed and stored appropriately. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**
High Priority - Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found.
Observed:
- Approximately 3 live roaches on flour in kitchen next to chest freezer.
- 1 live roach falling from out of use reach in cooler in kitchen. **Warning**
Intermediate - No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink.
Observed at both hand wash sinks. PIC replaced paper towel. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**
Intermediate - Ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food prepared onsite and held more than 24 hours not properly date marked.
Observed rice cooked 3/3/25 not date marked in low boy cooler next to cook line. **Warning**
