Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

08B-38-4    Basic - Food stored on floor. Observed boxes of tortilla chips and clam chowder stored on the floor of the walk in cooler.
10-14-5    Basic - Ice buckets not stored inverted between uses at the outdoor ice machine. The operator properly stored the ice buckets. **Corrected On-Site**
10-13-5    Basic - In-use ice scoop for ice machine located outside not stored in a protected manner between uses. The operator properly stored the ice scoop. **Corrected On-Site**
21-04-4    Basic - In-use wet wiping cloth/towel used under cutting board. The operator removed the wet cloth from underneath the cutting board. **Corrected On-Site**
31B-04-4    Basic - No handwashing signs provided at a hand sink used by food employees in the kitchen. **Repeat Violation**
25-05-4    Basic - Single-service articles improperly stored. Observed boxes of plastic cups stored on the floor behind the bar.
08B-54-4    Basic - Uncovered food stored underneath paper towels exposed to drip at the reach in cooler near the prep area. The operator properly stored the paper towels. **Corrected On-Site**
08B-62-4    Basic - Unprotected ice machine in a customer/nonsecure area. **Repeat Violation**
12A-16-4    High Priority - Employee began working with food, handling clean equipment or utensils, or touching unwrapped single-service items without first washing hands. Observed an employee return to the kitchen from the outside without washing hands then open a condiment bottle.
29-34-4    High Priority - Vacuum breaker missing at hose bibb or on fitting/splitter added to hose bibb on the south side of the building.
22-02-4    Intermediate - Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime. Observed the can opener soiled with an accumulation of food debris. **Repeat Violation**
