A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Buildup of food debris/soil residue on equipment door handles.
In kitchen, flip top cooler doors and handles soiled with food debris and grease. **Warning**
Basic - Ceiling/ceiling tiles/vents soiled with accumulated food debris, grease, dust, or mold-like substance.
In kitchen, vents and ceiling soiled with dust and food debris. **Warning**
Basic - Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust.
In kitchen, shelves by handwashing sink soiled with food debris and grease.
In kitchen, stove top and oven soiled with food debris and grease. **Warning**
High Priority - Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found.
In kitchen by handwashing sink, approximately 10 live roaches on wall and ceiling.
In kitchen, on cook line and flip top cooler approximately 10 live roaches on wall and ceiling.
In dining room, approximately 5 live roaches on floor and walls. **Warning**
High Priority - Roach excrement and/or droppings present.
In kitchen by flip top cooler, evidence of roach excrement found by outlet on wall. **Warning**
Intermediate - Food-contact surface soiled with food debris, mold-like substance or slime.
Reach in cooler in kitchen soiled with food debris. **Warning**
